1/5/2007
Our lack of updates lately may have left some of you wondering what's up with Same Day Service. So, I thought I'd fill you in. After two years of touring and total immersion in SDS, we decided that we needed a break and all wanted to try other things. Which means SDS is on extended hiatus.

We are all still writing and playing music, and even rockin' in some other projects. Hopefully there will be new recordings in the near future, whether it's SDS or something else. Maggie and I are getting ready to go to the UK again...maybe if you're lucky you can catch an acoustic set in a Dublin pub!

Also, a few months ago I won the Contagious Graphics give-away. This means that there are 95 limited edition SDS T-shirts for sale....first come, first serve. They are $5, which basically just covers shipping, and we'll throw in some other goodies too.
Here is a link to the design: http://www.sdsrocks.com/myspace/tshirtcolors.jpg
Send me an email if you are interested. sds@sdsrocks.com

Also, don't forget the Same Day Service EP is available for purchase at CDBaby, and as always you can get all 3 CDs at Interpunk. Plus you can find SDS on iTunes...woohoo!

For some reason, my HTML creator is not working so I can't make my words into links, so....

How did it get to be October?? I swear it's like this year hasn't even happened. Anyway...some exciting news.  After years of entering, I have finally won the Contagious Graphics give-away. This means that in the very near future there will be some limited edition SDS T-shirts for sale for cheap....first come, first serve (unless you write me and tell me to reserve one for you!)
Also, don't forget the Same Day Service EP is available for purchase at CDBaby, and as always you can get all 3 CDs at Interpunk. Plus you can find SDS on iTunes...woohoo!

HAPPY SUMMER!! It's been awhile since there's been an update...but here goes. The Same Day Service EP is now available for purchase at CDBaby.com, and as always you can get all 3 CDs at Interpunk.com. Plus you can find SDS on iTunes...woohoo! We also had some music on a show called American Made on CNBC.  Still working on new songs, and trying to get motivated to get into a studio and record something. That's all for now.

3/27/2006
We made it home from our European tour, SXSW has come and gone, and now it's time for a little break(maybe i'll finally get rid of this cold that's been hanging on all winter.) Don't worry, it's not a full-fledged break....we'll use this time off from touring to write some new songs, and maybe Maggie can perfect her autoharp skills. Check back for pictures from the tour, and don't forget to add us on Myspace.

3/6/2006  The European Icecube Tour of 2006 is almost over. But that doesn't mean SDS is getting a break. We fly home from London, then head straight to Austin for SXSW...woohoo...we love that week. Then it's off on a regional tour with our friends from Holland called San Andreas. Check the shows page.

1/30/2006
Tour has begun again....so that means it's time to start writing show journals. We've got pretty regular internet access, thanks to Christina's purchase of a laptop with wireless...so i'm gunna try to stay on top of it.  Check out the shows page to see if we're playing in your town!

1/9/2006
We are pleased to announce that we have some new partners in crime. Squash Records! Thanks to Tom, you will be able to purchase SDS in Europe and through Squash's online store...Come Check us out while we tour Holland and beyond starting at the end of January! Check our shows page for details..and check out Squash Records and see some of the other awesome bands we'll be working with!
Happy Rockin' New Year!

12/24/2005  I'd like to say we're taking a break for the holidays, but we're not. Too busy booking shows in England and getting ready for tour. We have a show in Tulsa on Jan. Friday the 13th. You should go.
Have a happy holiday!
And be our friend on Myspace.

12/13/2005  I'm finally making an update! w00t! We're back in Norman, getting ready for our show at the Deli and preparing for the Holidays.
We're proud to announce our 3rd european tour. So, far it is to hit Holland and England...check our shows page for updates and details.

12/6/2005  A few days left in L.A., a few more shows, and then we go our separate ways for the holidays. Don't worry we'll reunite in January and the rock will begin again. Going back to Europe where we're gunna freeze...but it'll be fun, fo sho.

11/28/2005  We have one show left in LA...Dec.1 at The Cat Club in W. Hollywood. If you've been meaning to come out, this is your last shot!! Then we all head our seperate ways for the holidays. stay tuned for European tour dates...yahoo!!

10/23/2005  We are in LA...we'll be here for awhile. I'm going to try to keep my journals updated, since this is kinda like touring. Other news...we're going back to the UK in Feb. woohoo!

10/18/2005  We've had a great time in Oklahoma, but the fun has to end sometime and the work has to start....so we leave for Cali tomorrow. Watch for SDS to be rockin' soon.

9/26/2005  We just found out that we have songs in both the new issue of Props BMX and the new Road Fools...so check em out. Yeah for BMX! We're still going to CA...just had to postpone a bit due to the crappy gas prices. Look for us on the west coast in mid-october.

8/25/2005  Haven't updated in awhile...but don't worry, we're still here. We've been hiding out in Oklahoma...playing some shows, trying to write some new songs, and booking a tour to the west coast...looks like we'll be out there in October. We'll also be back in Austin for a few days in Sept...checking the PO Box, making sure our storage space is still there and hopefully doing some rockin'. I'm stoked cuz we 're in Norman and football season is getting ready to start....Go Sooners!

7/27/2005  Just got back from a 5 day tour with Single File. Even though it was really hot, we had a great time and it was cool seeing Single File play every night...cuz they rock. We're planning our fall tour...so stayed tuned!

7/2/2005  We're back in the USA! We played Warped Tour, spent tons of money fixing our van's transmission and now we're just hanging out, booking the rest of the summer. Tour pictures, new shows and more updates coming soon!

Our new 7 song EP is now available at Interpunk.com

6/9/2005  Still in England but we come home in 13 days!! If you need to get a fix of SDS, before then, go to hd.net and check out the airing schedule for our Bud True Music show at SXSW. I haven't seen it, but I hear it's pretty cool.

4/27/2005  Still in England. Having fun, but don't have much time on the computer. Don't worry though...we will answer all emails and post pictures someday!

4/1/2005  We've got lots of SDS news to report:
On April 4 we leave for London for our UK tour. We're going to be gone for about 2.5 months, so stay updated by reading our journals - www.sdsrocks.blogspot.com and myspace.com/samedayservice

We are now a part of AMP Energy Drink 6-pack program. Please go to www.amp6packs.com and download our 6-pack! You can listen to us being dorks and there's a few songs as well. You can also call your local college radio station and request the SDS 6-pack. Woohoo!

We released a 7 song EP on March 1, 2005. Sweet! For now, it'll be somewhat difficult to get a hold of unless you come to a show...the guys over at Terrible One (www.terribleone.com) are going to sell it from their website if you like ordering online. We'll be holding off on mailorder until we get back from Europe. Don't forget that you can still purchase Waiting For Tomorrow and Endless Adolescence from interpunk.com

In case you forget what we look like here's a silly video for OK Alright that Maggie put together with footage from our last year. go here

2/20/2005  The new EP is done...sweet! Right now you can only buy it directly from SDS...but we'll get some kind of distro going soon.

The tour journal should start being updated regularly...check it!

2/16/2005  Holy Crap!! Today we were supposed to play a show with Camino, this band from Japan that Christina knows. They were in Dallas, and Chris was gunna hitch a ride down to Austin with them...and then we were gunna lay down some rock at Bigsbys. Unfortunately, the front end of their van decided to take on the rear end of a semi, and you can probably guess who won...not the van. Everyone seems to be ok, other minor bumps and bruises. Christina was a quick thinker and when she realized what was happening, she put her arms over her face...resulting in burnt arms from the airbag gases, instead of a burnt nose. Thank god for vanity. Needless to say, the van is totaled and both bands had to drop off the show. To make up for it though, we're gunna rock extra hard at the punk rock bbq at Headhunters on Saturday. Come to the show and bring some TLC to Christina and the boys...i'm sure they'll still be hurtin'.

2/14/2005  HAPPY V.D.! where's my kisses and chocolate. don't have time for it anyway....we're way to busy getting ready for the next few months. We leave for tour with Shotgun Democracy (from England) in 2 weeks...it's gonna be great. Look at our shows page and if we're playing near you, PLEASE come out! We want to show SGD an awesome time!

1/19/2005  We spent all last weekend in the studio recording our new EP. We were hoping to release it as a split with our friends in Shotgun Democracy, but it doesn't look like they're gunna get to record in time. So look for 6 new rockin' SDS songs on March 1....just in time for the endless tour. Woohoo!!

1/2/2005  so we've got 7 houseguests and our computer is in constant use....resulting in a dead Mona...the computer's harddrive. It's sunday, the Mac doctor is closed, so we're at the library sending mailouts about the upcoming shows. everyone in austin come to redrum on tuesday..it's an early show (8pm) and what else would you be doing? and if you live in OKC we'll be at The Conservatory on Wednesday. Hope everyone had a good new year...i'm trying to forget parts of mine...

12/21/2004  Wow...it's almost Christmas! What happened to this year? We've got lots of plans for 2005... tours, a new record, and of course lots of ROCK! Hope everyone has a Happy Holiday, and we'll see ya next year.

12/2/2004  Do you want a free CD? Of course you do...it's like an early Christmas present. Go to www.sarahsaturday.com and check out The Saturday Music Mix CD Series. Same Day Service has been featured on Vol. 1, along with a bunch of other great bands like The Format, Bristol Park, Limbeck and many more. All you have to do is send a Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope and...presto...you get a new CD!! Check out sarahsaturday.com for the details.

11/20/2004  We played our first show in Laredo the other night and it totally rocked....nice people, good food and a great show...what more can we ask for. I can't believe it's almost Thanksgiving. Hope everyone has a great holiday and we'll talk to ya soon!

11/12/2004  Hmmm....what's new? I went back to Oklahoma last week for a visit, went to some shows and was told that SDS helped shape the Oklahoma punk scene into what it is today. I never really thought of us in that way....but what a great compliment. We're printing some new shirts, I finally learned how to crochet..it's faster than knitting...so we've got lots of beanies, and we wrote a cool song last week. Guess that's it for now.

11/2/2004  10.31.04 GO VOTE ON TUESDAY!!!!
if you have to stand in line for an hour, don't get mad. Remember it's a good thing...it means lots of people are voting. we might not be able to actually pick our president, but we can pick everyone else....voting for house of rep, senate, and others can make a difference...plus you count as a statistic...which definately means something. If politicians see that people care enough to go vote, then hopefully they'll care enough to listen.

10/29/2004  Check out an awesome review of yours truly at http://sarahsaturday.com, a new website that's all about supporting and promoting indie bands like us.

10/22/2004  Wow...finally an update. Turns out our computer had a virus...a rare thing for a MAC. In the process of cleaning off the computer, all the files for our website got thrown away! Not the end of the world, but definately a drag.

Anyway, in the world of band news, we've been hanging out in Austin playing shows. We took a mini-tour up I-35 and rocked some places we hadn't been in awhile. We've also got a whole lot of stuff in the works for next year, so check back for updates.

9/19/2004  We've got an article and short interview in this weeks Denton Record-Chronicle. We also got a photo and a mention in issue #40 (Sept/ 2004) of DIG BMX magazine. The article is about The Lambrini Jam, a BMX jam in Leeds, UK, that we played in June.

8/30/2004  We've got a new review in an English music magazine called Black Velvet!

We had a great couple of shows last week. Thanks so much to everyone that came out and rocked with us. We're always working on booking shows, at the moment we are trying to only play weekends so Christina doesn't have to drive back and forth from Dallas as much. If anyone has a Saturday night show, house party, BBQ, etc that they want us to play email at sds@sdsrocks.com.

7/20/2004  I've finally got photos from our tour up...there's tons more, but I tried to narrow it down. I also put up the video that our friend Kyle made for Try.

7/4/2004  OMG, it's a new website. I've spent many hours working on it, and I'm sure I'm not finished, since I've already found a few bugs. Arrrggg. Hopefully we'll have some pictures from tour up soon. Have fun watching the fireworks

6/24/2004  Back in the states. Head to Warped Tour for a couple days. Play a show on Tuesday, the 29th, at Emo's. Come home and SLEEP! More detailed updates soon with tour pics, journals, etc...

5/14/2004  Back from tour...it was fun. Played with some good bands, met lots of cool people and had a great time. Now we're back in Austin for three weeks...then it's off to the UK, Italy and Switzerland!! But not before we play rockin' shows at Emo's for Ladyfest and at The OP Girls Learn to Ride event. As always, check the blog for current updates. We've got new t-shirts and trucker hats...good stuff. We're partnering up with an Italian label called Funbox Soundboard and Broke Clothing to release a split CD with one of their bands, Whinny Puke. Also, there is a new review of Waiting For Tomorrow at Logo Magazine.

04.23.04
We leave tomorrow for our mini-midwest tour. We're ready for some rockin' and I'm so excited to go to Louisville and eat some burgoo and drink sweet tea. YUM! Check our blog for updates during the tour. We've got new t-shirts and trucker hats...good stuff. After the midwest tour, we come home for 3 weeks, then it's off to England to tour with our friends in Shotgun Democracy. We've got some dates in Italy and Switzerland in the works too....check back later for more info.

04.14.04
Holy! We're touring the UK in June with our friends from Shotgun Democracy!! But first, we're heading out on a week-long tour of the Midwest. It'll be Christina's first real tour! Our first stop is Oklahoma City, so make sure to come out and rock. We've got new T-shirts and trucker hats. We're making a video for Try. Our friend Kyle McAdams is finishing it up and it should be available for your viewing pleasure on the Austin Music Network in the next couple weeks. I'll try to put it online as well for everyone that doesn't live in Austin. We got a new review of WFT at www.girlpunk.net

03.01.04
Right now our lives consist of booking tours, working our other jobs so we'll have lots of money for those tours, and teaching Christina to knit so she'll have something to do on the long drives during the tours...plus we're playing a few shows. In other news, SDS has some music on an extreme sports show called GKA on the Fuel Network. Check out the airing schedule at Fuel. There is also a review of Waiting for Tomorrow in Issue #17 of Shredding Paper.

01.22.04
So far 2004 has been pretty good. We've got shows in the works, we're writing new songs, and we've even started knitting new beanies. SDS has some music on an extreme sports show called GKA on the Fuel Network.

01.16.04
So far 2004 has been pretty good. We've got shows in the works, we're writing new songs, and we've even started knitting new beanies. Christina has been racking up the miles on her car driving to Austin every weekend for practice...too bad there's not a frequent driver program. Check out a new SDS interview at Dallas Music Guide. The interview was actually done quite a while ago(this summer), but most of the answers are still current.

01.03.04
Happy New Year!! We rang in the new year with a jam session at the practice space...Sarah busted out some new moves...too bad she's usually stuck behind the microphone. I spent more time singing than playing drums, but I think we might have some new songs in the works...assuming we remember what we wrote at 1am. We don't have anything booked right now, shows keep falling through, but hopefully we'll have something soon.

11.17.03
Wow, I can't believe it's been over a month since I've updated this site. We finally have some news! We want to welcome Christina Ownby to SDS, she's our new bass player. Yah! We have shows in the works for December, we'll be playing Austin, Dallas and OKC. I'll put them on the shows page as soon as I have the details. For those of you that wanna know what a very young SDS sounded like, I've put up Mp3s from our first album, ...If You're Lucky, on the sounds page. We can't wait to start playing again and we'll see you at our shows in December!!

10.05.03
Halloween is fast approaching and I still have no idea what I'm gunna be. Last year for my work party I went as a rockstar...no one but me thought it was funny. Keep an eye out for SDS rockin' soon and maybe a new acoustic set...open mic night, here we come!!

Sorry about the lack of updates, but there isn't much to tell at the moment. I put up a page with a few reviews on it. We also now have Waiting For Tomorrow on sale at Interpunk.com. Now no one has an excuse not to buy it, you can put it on your credit card.

07.23.03
We are now looking for a new bass player (and a lead guitarist). Angel, who rocked with us all summer is moving to Los Angeles to try and be a rockstar with her band All Normal Society. We knew about this when she joined in May, we'd just been hoping she'd decide she needed to stay in Austin.

07.15.03
We've made it back safely from our west coast tour, we played some amazing shows and met some great people. If you want the details, go to www.sdsrocks.blogspot.com This weekend is the TX Warped Tour, and we'll be playing all three dates (S.A., Dallas and Houston). We're really excited, we got to play the Portland Warped Tour a couple weeks ago, and it gave a taste of whats to come. If you're around, come by and say hi! If you haven't got the new CD yet, get it! What's $10? You can buy it in Austin from Waterloo Records, directly from us (check the merch section for details) or if you want to pay with a credit card go to www.bmxcentral.com. We have a new video on AMN, call them up and request it! You can also request us at 101X, right now Andy Langer plays us on the locals show, but we need to move up to regular rotation. :)

06.10.03
So the CDs are being made as I type this and we'll have them in time to take on tour with us! Yah! We'll being playing a CD Release show on June 23 at Emos. It'll be a great show, and we'd love for everyone to come out and celebrate with us. We've also finally made a video for The Austin Music Network, keep an eye out for it. The song is Anthem (usually the last song we play at shows) and we used footage from our time in Denver recording. Hope everyone is having a great summer!!

05.21.03
As some of you may know, Lisa is no longer playing with SDS. Maggie and I are sad to see her go, but I guess everything happens for a reason. On a brighter note, we'd like to welcome Angel Gallo to the band. She's been working really hard to learn the bass parts in time for our show at Ladyfest tomorrow, so come out and show your support. We're STILL anxiously awaiting the release of our new CD, as well as booking our summer tour. we're heading west, so keep an eye out for SDS rockin' in your town. Dates will be posted on the shows page as they are confirmed.

03.23.03
Well, after resting up for a week, I can look back and definitely say we had an amazing time at SXSW. We played three great shows(sorry if anyone showed up for the canceled 4th one), and we even played two of the shows in our SDS cheerleader uniforms. We saw lots of out-of-town friends, met tons of new people and I even gave a demo to Carson Daly(so watch out MTV). Maggie and I found a home away from home at Kinko's...we were there everyday making more flyers to pass out. We're anxiously awaiting the release of our new CD...more info on the exact date soon!

04.27.03
Wow, it's been awhile since i updated the news...guess that means there's nothing going on, or I'm to busy to update, hopefully the latter!! We're anxiously awaiting the release of our new CD, as well as booking our summer tour. we're heading west, so keep an eye out for SDS rockin' in your town. Dates will be posted on the shows page as they are confirmed.

3.07.03
We've been back from Colorado for a week now. Austin is about the same, although everyone is getting ready for SXSW. Alot of locals claim to hate this time of year because of all the folks that come to town, but I think it's great. I love having new people around. We'll be playing a couple of shows next week, try to make it out if you can!!

02.07.03
We leave for Colorado tomorrow to start recording, so this will be the last update for awhile. You can read Lisa's journal (http://samedayservice.blogspot.com) if you want to know about the day to day recording stuff. We'll play Austin again at the end of Feb. at a T-1 show at The RItz.

01.11.03
SDS will be heading to Colorado in Feb. to record our long-awaited third album...woohoo! We'll also be playing shows on the way out there and the way back...so if you live somewhere between Austin and Denver and can help us get a show, let us know.

12.25.02
Merry Christmas everyone!! We(Maggie and Sarah) got up this morning and opened presents with our mom and dad who are visiting from Oklahoma. I'm sure Lisa did the same thing in North Carolina with her family. Yeah for presents! Our big news is: SDS will be heading to Colorado in Feb. to record our long-awaited third album...woohoo! We'll also be playing shows on the way out there and the way back...so if you live somewhere between Austin and Denver and can help us get a show, let us know.

12.06.02
It is definitely winter in Austin...way too cold. The other night Maggie and I had to load the van and it was freezing outside...so we pretended we were on The Amazing Race and it was a task we had to complete. I don't think I've ever run while carrying my cabinet before. We finished loading in about 7 minutes and weren't cold anymore...I'd recommend this method to any band that hates loading the van as much as we do..it was kinda fun. Don't forget, SDS will be part of the FOX7 Holiday Jam. Watch FOX7 between 5-8am on Christmas morning to see us play our version of White Christmas. We've also all been busy making beanies since we've pretty much sold-out of the ones we'd been stockpiling all summer...so pick one up at a show.

11.25.02
This morning we got up at 5:30AM, went down to the FOX7 news studio and played on the morning show. It was fun and no one messed up too bad! We also pre-taped White Christmas done SDS style that will air Christmas morning....sometime between 5AM and 8AM. We've all been busy making beanies since we've pretty much sold-out of the ones we'd been stockpiling all summer. Our next show is Dec. 5 at Flamingo Cantina, with an awesome band from CA called Divit. Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving.

11.04.02
November has started out a pretty cool month...even with the cold weather and rain. We finally got our CD reviewed in The Austin Chronicle, and we had a picture in Ride UK, as well as Dig BMX. We've played some fun shows in the past couple weeks, and are playing at The New Music Festival in Dallas on Nov. 16. Don't forget...since winter is here we have hand-knitted beanies for sale at shows....there is a wide variety of colors and styles. We'll also have a new T-shirt design printed on black shirts very soon, so keep an eye ou1

0.07.02
So there's not a whole lot of news right now, we're just hanging out in Austin, practicing, going to shows and working. We have a few shows coming up...the next one is this Sat., Oct. 12 at the Chicken Wire Ranch on east 6th. Those shows are always fun and the money goes to charity, so everyone should come out. We're hoping to record later this fall so keep your fingers crossed. Rock!!

09.07.02
We had a great show last night. Thanks to everyone for coming out and making the Back Room's first punk fest a success. Our next show in Austin is Saturday (Sept.14) at the Ritz. It'll be lots of fun and it's the day after an art show that Maggie has some stuff in. (check the flyer below). So, you can make a whole weekend out of it...art on Friday and music on Saturday. We would also really like to play some other TX cities in Oct./Nov. so if anyone out there can help us book a show email us: samedayserve@hotmail.com ROCK!!

09.03.02
Happy Labor Day...hope everyone had a good long weekend. We finally got a new scanner, so check out the Warped Tour pictures on the photos page. We are playing a big show this Friday, the 6th at The Backroom. It's an all-ages punk-fest with a lot of great bands and we'd love you to be there.

8.11.02
We've been taking a little break this summer...trying to write some new songs, and taking vacations. Our 4 Vans Warped Tour dates were awesome! It was so much fun and thanks to everyone who hung around to watch us. There were tons of great bands playing this year and it means alot that you chose to watch and support us. Check out the journals if you want to know all the details from the shows. There will be pictures soon, but at the moment our scanner is broken, so you'll have to wait until we buy a new one. We have Sammy shirts on sale again...so check them out at at the merch table. We are heading back to Oklahoma for a show later this month...should be a lot of fun...plus a tour is in the works...more on that soon.

7.03.02
We just got back from playing 4 dates on the Vans Warped Tour! It was so much fun and thanks to everyone who hung around to watch us. There were tons of great bands playing this year and it means alot that you chose to watch and support us. Check out the journals if you want to know all the details from the shows. We don't really have any other news right now other than we are planning on touring in August...we'll post the dates as soon as they are confirmed.

06.04.02
The news hasn't been updated in awhile, therefore we have alot of it. Here goes.... We had a song in the most recent issue(#44) of Props Video Magazine (a bmx video mag). We are playing two dates on the Vans Warped Tour (kansas city and dallas). Maggie and Sarah were on the 101X Morning show where we did a short interview, and played an acoustic version of New York. We recorded 3 new songs, two of which will be released on a couple comps(more info later.) That's the news for now.

5.10.02
The tour pictures and Sarah's journals are finally up! The shows page has also been updated.

04.30.02
We are back from tour. we had a great time rockin' the midwest...plus who knew there were so many cute boys in Iowa City! If you want to know all the details, there will be tour journals and photos up on the website soon. Anyway, we have a bunch of shows coming up in May...the first being this Wednesday, May 1 at The Backroom with Face to Face, Midtown, The Movielife and Thrice!  We are really excited about this show, so come out early to see us play.

04.15.02
We just found out that we get to open for Face To Face, Midtown , The Movielife and Thrice at the Back Room on May 1!! What great news to start our spring tour with, which we are leaving for today! Check out the shows page and if you live in any of the cities we're playing in, please come out and see us (and tell all your friends too).

04.10.02
There's not much news to tell at the moment. Tomorrow is the Rock Against Racism Benefit in Bryan, TX. We're looking forward to meeting the other bands and hanging out at the lake. It should be alot of fun. We are also getting ready to take a short tour of the midwest. Check the shows page for more info and come out and see us!!

It's Thursday night and in a few minutes we'll be heading down to the Ritz for some pool and socializing...I never thought I'd be a regular at a pool hall. Today we got a last minute show playing at Teen Day at the Texas Fine Arts Association (I think thats what TFAA stands for). Apparently one of the other bands had to cancel, so who ya gonna call? SDS!! (Thanks Karen!) For more info check the shows page. For those of you that ride BMX, check out this months issue of DIG. There's a cute picture of Maggie and an interview.

We got a show for next week during SXSW! It going to be at Flamingo Cantina (on 6th St.) It's an early show, 4:45pm to be exact.. I'm not sure yet who else it playing but I think it's going to be all girl bands. Everyone please come out and support us, you never know who might be watching!!

We made it safely back from Whistler...if you feel like reading about the trip, Sarah wrote a show journal about it...even though we didn't play a show. I guess you could call it a short story, instead of a journal entry. We are booking a tour to the East Coast for April so if you can help us get a show, send us an email.

The pictures from Chicago are up as well as a few others. Also take a look at our review at Punkhardcore.com. Tonight we are going to see Cruiserweight and Dynamite Boy and then to downtown to check out some Mardi Gras action. And then off to the airport bright and early! Canada here we come...we might just quit the band and become snowboard bums.

02.05.02
The show at Emo's was awesome last night. We are taking a vacation to Canada to snowboard, so no shows booked for a little while . We got rejected for SXSW again, but we are gunna try to play a party or something, so check back for updates. Also, we should have some new pictures up of the Chicago trip soon.

The weather in Austin rocks!! We've been riding our bikes everyday...which doesn't leave much time for practice. Oh well. We're headling a show at Emo's on Feb.4. It'll be a good time and everyone should come out. (What else are ya gonna do on a Monday night?) The trip to Chicago was fun...it was nice to be on the road again. Read Sarah's show journals if you want the details!

Happy New Year! There's not to much going on right now. In a couple of days we'll be hitting the road for a show in Chicago on Jan. 10. Yah, we know it's a long drive for one show, but it'll be worth it! We're also stopping in Norman, OK on the way (check out the shows page for more info).

The show at Emos on the 14th was awesome. It's been almost a week and we still get excited when we talk about it. You can read about it on the journals page. No other news to tell, we're all taking a little break and going to our parents for X-mas. Hope everyone has a great holiday!!

12.06.01
As you can see we finally have a new webpage. Most of the information is the same but the layout is a little different. Maggie is finally learning a real web design program so we're moving on from the GeoCities cut and paste program. Hopefully this means that we will be able to update the page much more often. In other SDS news we recently found out the we get to open for Dynamite Boy, Thrice and Piebald on Dec. 14 at Emos. Thrice is one of our favorite bands and Dynamite Boy should draw a big crowd! It's going to be a great show! Our Fall tour was awesome! We played some really cool shows, and the new van rocked almost harder than we did! Thanks to everyone who helped us out along the way. Check out Sarah's new show journals to read all the juicy details. We played 3 dates on the Warped Tour this summer. Besides being miserably hot, it was awesome and we got to play with a lot of great bands. Maybe next year we'll get to play the whole tour...
